Does converting to JPG remove transparency?
Yes — JPG doesn't support transparency, so any transparent areas will be filled with white when converting from PNG or WebP.
Can I convert HEIC iPhone photos?
Most browsers can't decode HEIC directly, so HEIC files aren't supported yet. Export as JPG from your phone first, then convert here if needed.
Is quality lost when converting?
Converting to PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP uses the quality setting you choose — higher quality means a larger file with less compression artifacting.
